Be careful what you read

The woman in the bed next to my Gran suddenly burst into tears today. It was quite unexpected, as up until that point she'd been happily reading todays Evening Post. It turns out that her sister died two days ago and none of the family had bothered to tell her. She only became aware of the fact by chancing across it in the obituaries.
