flesh

Yes, I know. But I'm used to it.

I had a dream that I was an American actress. I was running through my lines for a film where I was playing an immigrant Italian woman living in a religiously suppressive community in a burgeoning US town.

One scene from the film saw me standing in line at a delicatessen counter. The floor was black & white checkered tiles and was hued by a faintly yellow light from the refrigeration unit. The somewhat muggy light played nicely off my three-quarter length green coat and my dark hair.
